Brook Serene Boutique Hotels Welcomes Back 

With a strong background in hotels throughout New Zealand ,  Mike Eccles, the new Hotel Manager at the Regent of Rotorua in Rotorua understands the challenges faced by the industry  to deliver for our international and domestic visitors.   

Bruce Garrett, Managing Director of Brook Serene says that “I am very pleased to welcome Mike Eccles back to to the fold.  Mike worked with us at The George in 2009 as Front Office manager before heading north and gaining further experience in Rooms Division and Hotel Manager Roles.  Mike will help ensure our guest experience is seamless as well as oversee some very exciting new developments we have planned for this property.”

Eccles has been working in the hotel industry for over 20 years since completing his Advanced Diplmoa in Hotel Manager in 2000.  Having settled in Rotorua with his family  in 2018 Mike enjoys spending his down time enjoying the many local activities and attractions on offer and volunteering with Rotorua Community Hospice.
